Our client, an international paper recycling company, needed a way to extract and unify data from a legacy ERP & CRM system to facilitate easy and comprehensive reporting for critical data driven business decision making. The existing platform has significant limitations surrounding multi-filter views forcing the client to consistently export large data sets into excel, manually create pivot tables and distribute them via email.

SGA designed and implemented multiple Azure Data Factory databases to centralize and streamline data management. ERP/CRM data was first moved into a raw database, then organized into tables within an operational data store for easy, quick, and real time Power BI reporting, then ultimately consolidated into an enterprise data warehouse for advanced analysis and reporting.

The new reports are significantly faster and are richer in functionality. They now provide digestible views, customizable filters, and easier access management. The client is now empowered to make data driven business decisions, uncover trends, and develop predictive models that drive future strategy.
